Introduction to Automobile Air Conditioning Condenser

The condenser is a component of the air conditioning system that can quickly transfer heat from the pipes to the air near the pipes. Most cars are placed in front of the water tank.

There are three main structural forms of condensers for automotive air conditioning systems: tube fin type, tube strip type, and fin type. The structure of the condenser has developed from a tube sheet type to a tube strip type, and mainly towards a parallel flow type. The internal structures of stacked and parallel flow condensers are constantly developing to further improve heat transfer efficiency and reduce weight. Parallel flow condensers have evolved from single unit parallel flow condensers to multiple parallel flow condensers. Due to measures such as reducing the thickness of the tube, increasing the number of fins inside the tube, opening the fins, changing the shape and opening angle of the fins, the heat dissipation area of the fins has been increased, and the heat exchange efficiency on the gas and liquid sides has been strengthened. The above development has significantly reduced the size and quality of the condenser.
